The S.R. Martin College Preparatory School is designed and committed to the firm belief that every child can excel academically in a rigorous curriculum with emphasis on mathematics, science, (English) written and oral language, and computer science communications. The school seeks to increase service to youth from depressed communities and supplement the existing program with job readiness, career choices and test-taking skills. The S.R. Martin Preparatory School goal is to help disadvantaged young men and women from distressed communities achieve their highest scholastic and humane aspirations through the successful negotiation of a rigorous academic and liberal arts curriculum.

Education 97/197 students act as role models, work with students on homework assignments, and review fundamental skills for those students who need tutoring in English, mathematics (advanced algebra, trigonometry, geometry,) science (biology, chemistry,) and languages (Spanish and French.) We hope our work with you will encourage our students even more through their interaction with good Cal role models as tutors.
